Drekoty (Ola Rzepka, Natalia Pikuła and Olga Czech) made us wait over 5 years for another album. In February 2018 Drekoty released an album called “lub maszyna trawa dzika”, accompanied by unique guests under the supervision of Sebastian Witkowski. The basic instrument set remains the same, Drekoty still consists of vocals, keyboards and percussion. This time they have been recorded live in order to show the energy and joy of performing together. A long guest list extends the basic sounds in unexpected ways. The album features Antoni Gralak, Kasia Kolbowska, Rapahel Rogiński, Paweł Szpura and Mikołaj Trzaska.

The album was released on 2nd February by Thin Man Records.

Drekoty first emerged on the scene in 2011 with the self-published EP entitled Trafostacja. Original, raw sounds comprising keyboards, percussion and three female vocals gave the girls a position in a niche market that stands outside genre classifications. Drekoty’s concert activity with an award for the best Polish song at Gramy Festival 2011. Then, they performed alongside such names as Carla Bozulich, Julia Marcell, Pustki or Paristetris. Towards the end of 2012 they released their debut album called Persentyna. The release ranked among the top Polish alternative music releases in 2012. Over the next few years, the band continued to give concerts, performed at smaller and larger festivals (including Off Festival, Opener, Męskie Granie, Ars Cameralis), gave gigs in the best clubs in Poland and performed in Germany, Austria and Turkey. In 2015, they released an EP entitled “Nowe Konstelacje” featuring new interpretations of songs by Grzegorz Ciechowski and a new, original song “Spokój” produced by Leszek Biolik.
