Music IN: Building brand online: why being on good terms with uncle Google is a good idea?
“Google it!”, “Ask uncle Google”. New phrases have inconspicuously entered our dictionaries. They are related to the largest and the most important search engine in the world. Google has become synonymous with inexhaustible source of information, endless possibilities of reaching unimaginable data and a fertile ground for marketing and promotion. Why being on good terms with “uncle Google” is a good idea? He tends to be strict so if you break clear rules of his house, he might punish you severely. If we win his favour, he rewards as best as he can: he lets others reach us. What does uncle like? How do you put him in a good mood? What animals does he keep in his garden and are they worth feeding? How to easily annoy uncle? What to do in order to give him a high five and drink champagne together? What are his priorities for the upcoming months and what values never change in his eyes? Is it really worthwhile to woo him and maintain a good relationship with him?

Instructor: Mariola Borowska – Content Marketing Specialist & Junior SEO Specialist. She’s been always involved with the written word which, aside from being pleasant, had to be effective and fulfill a specific role. She started as a SEO copywriter (among others in Agora: gazeta.pl, gazeta.pl next, gazeta myfitness.pl, Avanti 24; Wirtualna Polska; Aviva; Trader). Then, she was a Content Marketing Specialist for an online investments company, where she mastered the art of creating websites from the perspective of content and sales, marketing communication, creating advertising materials, competition analysis and many others. Now she’s a Junior SEO Specialist for Reckitt Benckiser. This is where she is exploring the secrets of international SEO, watching over all global domains of such brands as Durex, Scholl, AirWick, Nurofen, Strepsils, Clearasil, Vanish, Finish, Calgon, etc. Since the beginning of 2016, she has been spending her time after hours on writing for Jazz Forum – it is her dream come true which allows her to be close to her great love – music.
