Brain Damage, celebrating its 20th anniversary this year is another act joining the line-up of East of Culture – Different Sounds 2019. The project has been unceasingly led by Martin Nathan – musician, producer, DJ and animator of the French dub scene. As early as the 1990s, he was one of the first to perform dub live acts, becoming one of the founders and leaders of the movement. Over the years, the artist has recorded and performed with such icons as Zion Train, High Tone or Alpha & Omega. Brain Damage has always been famous for wide sonic explorations, fusing the best sound system traditions with live performances. For the French club scene, rooted in dub, reggae and dancehall, Nathan’s work and achievements are fundamental. The concert in Lublin is of course part of Brain Damage’s aforementioned 20th anniversary, so it is going to be a unique opportunity to listen and experience live the best that Brain Damage has to offer.
