Scott Crawford’s famous documentary explores the heyday of the punk music scene in Washington, D.C. The film’s title refers directly to the legendary album by Minor Threat, fronted by Ian MacKay and Jeff Nelson. In the film, this band, as well as artists from groups such as Fugazi, Rites of Spring, Faith or Void share their recollections and experiences of that unusual period, which was crucial for the development of the American counterculture of the 20th century.
