Miles BonnyMiles Bonny is an absolutely exceptional American vocalist, trumpeter and music producer. At Workshops of Culture he will give a concert together with the Tasmanian vocalist SHHOR. Support and after party will be provided by DJ Papa Zura.

Miles Bonny –  Originally from New Jersey, he currently lives in New Mexico. His album “Lumberjack Soul” released in 2011 is one of the classic, timeless neo soul titles. Bonny’s career began in 2002 when he founded the band SoundsGood. He has worked with many renowned artists from all over the world. He has acted as a producer for Sage Francis. He has released singles with DJ Day, Brenk Sinatra (together they form S3 duet), Anthony Valadez, Suff Daddy, Kixnar. He has also released the EP “Egg Black” together with B.Lewis. This release received critical acclaim in many reviews of the year 2012 in music. Currently, Miles Bonny is getting ready to release an album he has worked on with Ta-Ku,  one of the most famous hip hop and soul producers. The album is set to debut in 2017.  Miles Bonny is currently in Lublin on an international artist residency programme organized by Community Arts Lab. During his stay thus far, he has run a number of music workshops at Workshops of Culture.

Shhor –
  A Tasmanian singer and producer who has recently moved to Taos in New Mexico. Her style is a soulful  fusion of southern gospel, blues, jazz, soul and ambient electronica. Having received a number of awards for best vocal and after graduating in music, she moved to Melbourne where, owing to her incredible voice and stage presence she fortified her position in a country that has produced such artists as Kaiyote or Daniel Merriweather. As a professional vocalist and choir leader, Shhor is often invited to take part in recordings  of hip hop performers and producers, including Mphazes, BeSpoke Music, Illy or Dylan Joel. She has also shared the stage with such artists as D’Angelo and her voice was used by the legend of house and ballroom music – Louie Vega (Masters at Work) in the song “Weekend Love” released by Soul Records. She has also contributed to the song Way, produced in cooperation with Tall Black Guy and the American musician Miles Bonny.  Currently, Shhor is working on her debut album.

Dj Papa Zura (Bartłomiej Pazura) –  Since the mid-1990s, he has been an active DJ, music promoter and producer. He’s a member of SOUL SERVICE collective that has been releasing compilations of forgotten Polish music, promoting organic sounds of the 1960s/1970s and popularizing the vinyl record as a medium since 2005. He has performed his DJ sets at clubs, festivals and radio stations in Poland and several other countries. He records his own music as “Zura” (U know me records). He’s the music director at Spatif Club in Warsaw.
