Jantar
Tthe latest project of artists for years active in such bands as Alameda, Innercity Ensemble, Ed Wood or Stara Rzeka. Describing the beginnings of the band, the musicians say that they connected thanks to their shared love of broadly understood popular Brazilian music and a firm belief in the superiority of Caetano Veloso’s white album over Metallica’s black album. The artists discussed these topics during their meals at the hotel restaurant in the Brazilian Taboão da Serra. The debates and shared fascination led to the creation of Jantar (Portuguese for „dinner”).
