Little Different Sounds: Toolbox – How to talk about music? | Music speaks the language of wanderlust and paints dreams of journeys
Join us on a magical journey! Participants will be transported to a hot desert, visit jumping hippos, and discover where parrots fly. They will go wherever their imagination takes them. The workshops will be conducted in the spirit of Edwin E. Gordon’s Music Learning Theory. During the sessions, children’s musical listening skills will be stimulated through singing in various tonalities and musical styles, as well as rhythmic activities in unconventional metres. In these workshops, the voice is the instrument – you won’t hear pre-recorded playback from a speaker. The session will take the form of a playful musical improvisation, accompanied by fluid movement, colorful props, and the wide smiles of the instructors, Magdalena Nejbauer and Małgorzata Kożuchowska-Panek.
