A legendary band, established in the early 1990s, associated with the so-called “yass music”. Yass is a cultural and musical phenomenon and it was predominantly focused in two strategic places in the Tricity and Bydgoszcz. It is in Bydgoszcz, in a group centred around the famous club”Mózg” that Arhythmic Perfection gradually formed in the spirit od of experimentation, improvisation and freedom of expression in art. No sooner had they released their first album, the famous „a”, than Mazoll and company entered the canon of Polish improvised music. An important moment in the history of the band was also their collaboration with Kazik Staszewski on “Rozmowy s catem”. Between these albums, Arhythmic Perfection recorded “Out out to lunch” offering a nod towards the famous Eric Dolphy’s album. During East of Culture – Different Sounds in Lublin we will predominantly hear tracks from this recording (this music has never been performed live in its entirety).
