Orient Station 2016

Orient Station

The project introduces audiences from Poland and Western Europe to interesting, if still fairly little-known artists from Eastern Europe. We invite artists who have gained recognition in their countries and now want to take the next step and become recognised internationally. The requirement to be accepted for art residency to Poland is originality and high artistic quality.

Orient Station is a kind of certificate given to artists invited to Lublin. Thanks to the industry contacts of Workshops of Culture, their activity will be supported in terms of promotion, establishing contacts with Polish and Western European artists, labels, managers, festival organisers and they will be encouraged to create concepts and joint artistic projects.
