Tevanik – Armenian cinema

Tevanik is a movie which tell three stories. The first one is about the childhood of Aram, which is abruptly ended when his family is separated. The second story is about Astghik and about how peace can turn into war in a single moment. She loses her friend, her love and her idol. The last story tells of a 14 year old Tevanik who also finds himself in war environment which changes him, teaches him life, death and survival.

Jivan Avetisyan – a director born in 1981 in Stepanakert in Nagorno-Karabakh. Between 2002 and 2007 he studied at the Yerevan State Institute of Theatre and Cinema, at the Department of feature films. Since 2009, he has been working in Yerkir Media TV Company – first as a program director and now as the chief director.
