Tropy in Different Sounds Zone
Artur Maćkowiak and Bartek Kapsa have been organizing the FONOMO Festival in Bydgoszcz for the past four years, but they never cooperated before. The time to cooperate has come now. They have composed music to accompany experimental films by Pedro Fereira and they will play it live in Lublin.
Eight different films, ranging from abstract video-art to found footage drown in the jungle of sounds and become spread between melodies and improvised experiments. The premise of this project is that sound and image interact but neither dominates over the other. In this instance, film and music are two parallel stories, which closely interact. In February the band released their album TROPY ( Tropes) which contains tracks created specifically for this concert. Therefore, the entire concert tour FONOMO ON TOUR will promote their debut release.
The cycle Fonomo on tour consists of two unique documentary films about music and a concert they will play live to accompany the short films by Pedro Ferreira.
