What you need to know before coming to the festival
Here’s what you need to know when attending East of Culture – Different Sounds Festival!
Concerts take place in Błonia near the Castle, while panels, exhibitions, and workshops can be found in the Old Town of Lublin.
Admission to all festival events is free.
Information Points are located in Łokietka Square (from 12:00 to 20:00) and Błonia near the Castle (from 14:00 to 0:00) – that’s where you can get printed programmes.
Throughout the festival, join us in the Festival Club in Błonia near the Castle. Chill out, purchase merchandise, participate in Indie Labels’ Fair, check out rehearsals for the performances, enjoy food from the food truck zone, and have a drink, provided by the festival sponsor, Browar Zakładowy.
The mobile version of the programme can be found on the website innebrzmienia.eu in Polish, English, and Ukrainian.
From July 6th (Thursday) at 10:00 to July 10th (Monday) at 17:00, you can participate in a contest organised in cooperation with Strabag, the festival’s main partner. Take a photo that you think represents the theme „Building the Climate of Culture” and publish it on Instagram or Facebook.
If you’re attending with children, it’s worth going to the Festival Information Point to get a special wristband for the youngest attendees, where you can write down your phone number as a contact for parents.
For those who are sensory sensitive, we have provided noise-canceling headphones for children and adults, which can be borrowed with a deposit of 100 PLN at the Information Point at Błonia Park, near the Castle, and at the Relaxation and Silence Zone.
You can bring your dogs, but for their well-being, it’s better to leave them at home. The festival attracts thousands of participants, loud sounds, a unique influx of stimuli, and often high temperatures. All of these factors can cause significant stress and potentially scare even a well-adjusted pet. However, if you decide to bring your four-legged friends, water bowls will be available for them.
Eat in the festival’s Food Truck Zone in Błonia near the Castle.
We care about the environment, so at our festival, you will be served drinks in reusable cups. We require a deposit of 10 PLN for the cup. You can get the cup at the Browar Zakładowy stalls.
In collaboration with Music Saves UA and a group of visual artists: Anna Sarvira, Dominika Czerniak-Chojnacka, and Dawid Ryski, we have prepared unique festival stickers. They will be given to those who visit our Festival Store and show proof of donation to the fundraising campaign, Music Saves UA, in support of the victims of the war in Ukraine. Donations can be made starting today! The minimum donation amount to receive a sticker is 20 PLN.
